{"id":5949,"date":"2010-01-18T14:29:59","date_gmt":"2010-01-18T19:29:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/countingpips.com\/fx\/?p=5949"},"modified":"2010-01-18T14:29:59","modified_gmt":"2010-01-18T19:29:59","slug":"forex-us-dollar-japanese-yen-decline-in-holiday-trading","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.investmacro.com\/fx\/2010\/01\/18\/forex-us-dollar-japanese-yen-decline-in-holiday-trading\/","title":{"rendered":"FOREX: US Dollar, Japanese Yen decline in holiday trading."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>By CountingPips.com<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The U.S. dollar and Japanese yen have fallen lower today in the forex markets on the U.S. federal holiday celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. The U.S. stock markets are closed today and trading in the forex market has been on light volumes.<\/p>\n<p>The US Dollar has been declining versus the euro, British pound, Japanese yen, Australian dollar, Canadian dollar, Swiss <a href=\"http:\/\/countingpips.com\/fx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/BlueChartPen200x1501.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-5952\" title=\"BlueChartPen200x150\" src=\"http:\/\/countingpips.com\/fx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/BlueChartPen200x1501.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"208\" height=\"170\" \/><\/a>franc and the New Zealand dollar as of 2:01 pm EST in the U.S. session.
