It should be noted that any move to the upside is a retracement of the bearish enfulfing candle seen on the 29\/2\/2012 which was a huge day for gold bears as the precious metal dropped 4.8% during the London fix. \u00a0Price action on XAUUSD has played out nicely recently and the the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.forex-fx-4x.com\/inside-bar-tutorial\/\">inside day breakouts<\/a> worked out well.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.forex-fx-4x.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/gold-technical-analysis-march-12-16th.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"422\" \/><\/p>\n<p>EURUSD has broken the ascending trend line as can be seen on the daily chart below. \u00a0Price is below the 20 day SMA and a sustained move lower would potentially see a confirmation of the bearish price action. \u00a0Risk trends still point towards further downside but the market is still heavily net short with the EURFX (CME) little changed according to recent COT data. \u00a0Any positive euro-zone data could see further short covering.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/eurusddaily.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/eurusd-analysis-march-10th1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"560\" height=\"414\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Any news, opinion, analysis, price quote or any other information should be taken as general market commentary only.
