{"id":26541,"date":"2012-01-11T12:16:00","date_gmt":"2012-01-11T17:16:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/countingpips.com\/fx\/2012\/01\/11\/polish-central-bank-holds-interest-rate-at-4-50\/"},"modified":"2012-01-11T12:16:00","modified_gmt":"2012-01-11T17:16:00","slug":"polish-central-bank-holds-interest-rate-at-4-50","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.investmacro.com\/fx\/2012\/01\/11\/polish-central-bank-holds-interest-rate-at-4-50\/","title":{"rendered":"Polish Central Bank Holds Interest Rate at 4.50%"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span><span>The&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nbp.pl\/\">Narodowy Bank Polski<\/a>&#8216;s Monetary Policy Council held the benchmark 7-day interest rate unchanged at 4.50%. &nbsp;The Bank said: &#8220;<\/span><\/span><span><span>In the opinion of the Council, in the medium term inflation will be curbed by gradually decelerating domestic demand amidst fiscal tightening, including reduced public investment spending, and interest rate increases implemented in the first half of 2011, as well as the expected global economic slowdown.
