The interest rate will be used to guide the 7\u2013day interbank interest rates,&#8221;.<\/span><br \/><a name='more'><\/a><\/p>\n<div><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 16px;\">The move represents the Bank&#8217;s first interest rate decision as it begins using the 7-day interbank rate to influence inflation, and begins explicitly <\/span><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 16px;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.centralbanknews.info\/2011\/06\/uganda-central-bank-to-start-inflation.html\">targeting inflation<\/a><\/span><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 16px;\">.
