This week will start off a little quietly since many markets will be closed for Easter Monday, especially in Europe and Australia. The US will release pending home sales and personal income data.<\/p>\n

The focus on Tuesday will be on Japanese household spending data, unemployment and retail sales figures.
\nOut of the US, the S&P\/Case-Shiller home price and CB consumer confidence numbers are expected later in the day.
\nOn Wednesday, Japanese industrial output numbers will be published.<\/p>\n

Then, Eurozone economic sentiment figures are due along with German preliminary inflation figures for March.
\nADP national employment numbers will be eyed out of the US.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, new home sales and private sector credit data are published in Australia.
\nIn Japan, construction orders and housing starts figures are issued.<\/p>\n

Focus will then turn to Eurozone March inflation. Also important to watch will be retail sales figures out of Germany, which is the Eurozone\u2019s largest economy.<\/p>

Final fourth quarter GDP numbers will be released in the UK.<\/p>\n

In the North American session on Thursday, Canada releases monthly GDP data, while the US issues initial jobless claims.<\/p>\n

On Friday, focus will be on manufacturing PMI data.<\/p>\n

The AIG Manufacturing Index is released in Australia, while the Bank of Japan\u2019s Tankan business sentiment survey results will be closely watched.<\/p>\n

Eurozone unemployment numbers are updated by Eurostat.<\/p>\n

The highlight of the week will be the US non-farm payrolls report. Following this, the latest Reuters\/Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index will be out.<\/p>\n
