First up on the calendar will be the general elections in Greece, which will be held on Sunday. At the moment according to recent polls, it is a close call between Tsipras\u2019 Syriza party and the Conservative New Democracy party.<\/p>\n

Monday will start off quietly as Japan will be close for a public holiday. Germany will release producer price data. Later in the North American session, Canada publishes wholesale trade numbers and the US sees the release of existing home sales data.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, Australian house price data are released. From the Eurozone, consumer confidence data are issue. We will then see public sector net borrowing and CBI industrial orders data out of the UK.<\/p>\n

US home price figures are released later on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The highlight on Wednesday will be PMI data. China\u2019s manufacturing PMI will be out first, followed by Eurozone PMI for both the manufacturing and services sector.<\/p>

Meanwhile ECB President Mario Draghi will be speaking. It will be interesting to watch his testimony on monetary policy before the European Parliament\u2019s Economic and Monetary Committee, in Brussels.<\/p>\n

Retail sales figures are issued in Canada later on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, attention will be on New Zealand which publishes trade data.<\/p>\n

Following from this, flash manufacturing PMI results are issued in Japan.<\/p>\n

Focus will then shift to Germany which sees the release of GfK consumer confidence data, import price numbers and the latest Ifo Business Climate Index.<\/p>\n

The US sees the release of durable goods orders and initial jobless claims data. Also on Thursday, Fed Chair Janet Yellen will be speaking.<\/p>\n

After a four-day holiday, Japan comes back to work on Thursday with the release of inflation data.<\/p>\n

The US sees the release of the latest Reuters\/Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index and revised second quarter GDP numbers. Moreover, Markit releases its latest flash US Services PMI results.<\/p>\n
