Good afternoon, dear traders. Today at 14:30 CET we expect the release of the key short-term US economic indicator, Unemployment Claims<\/b>. The data is collected by the Ministry of Labor and published in weekly report. The index estimates the domestic demand dynamics and the potential consumer lending to stimulate the US economy. If the indicator performance is below the expected 306,000, it will certainly lead to an inflow of investment in the American recovering market and investors will continue to sell the defensive assets such as gold and silver. The conflict freezing in Eastern Ukraine weakens even more the position of XAU. We expect the reported Unemployment Claims can have a significant impact on the price of the instrument XAU\/USD (Gold)<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Here we consider the H4 price chart. We can observe the consistent movement within the daily, H4 and H1 time frames. All the three trends are directed into the red zone. The direction is confirmed by Parabolic and DonchianChannel(13). The concern is caused by bullish divergence of RSI-Bars<\/a> oscillator on the D1 time frame. To be sure in the investor sentiment, it is recommended to fix the local trough breach of the signal at 23.2%. In our opinion, it will happen simultaneously with the fractal support intersection at 1243.45. Its importance is confirmed by Parabolic historical values and bottom of the DonchianChannel. Risk can be limited at 1258.11 dollars per troy ounce, which lies on the opposite channel side.<\/p>\n

After position opening, Trailing Stop is to be moved after the ParabolicSAR values, near the next fractal peak. Updating is enough to be done every day after the formation of 5 new H4 candlesticks, needed for the Bill Williams fractal formation. Thus, we are changing the probable profit\/loss ratio to the breakeven point, using the trend-following strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
