A set of reports from Japan are expected to be released.<span id=\"more-4519\"><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Japan<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The Japanese benchmark Nikkei 225 index edged 1.39% lower, closing at 15,095.00 points, while Tokyo\u2019s Topix index fell 0.97% to 1,250.52 points.<\/p>\n<p>Oracle Japan saw losses as shares slid 4.26% after forecasting its full-year profit will come in at 45 billion yen, compared to analysts\u2019 estimates of 47.7 billion yen. The machine-tool builder Okuma also saw losses, falling 3.33%. Meanwhile, Ono Pharmaceutical advanced 4.9% after reports confirmed that the nation\u2019s health ministry approved its drug for melanoma treatment.<\/p>\n<p>Fresh reports showed that Japan\u2019s Consumer Price Index (CPI) climbed 3.4 in May on an annualized rate, compared to 3.2% reported in the previous month. A separate report showed that Japan\u2019s household spending in May came in at 8% on a yearly basis, compared to analysts\u2019 estimates of a 1.9% fall. In contrast, the oil cooperation CNOOCadded 0.87%.<\/p>\n<p>The South Korean Kospi index declined 0.37%, ending the session at 1,988.51 points, while Australia\u2019s S&amp;P\/ASX 200 index slid 0.35% at 5,445.20 points. New Zealand\u2019s NZX 50 index gained 0.17% to 5,138.65 points.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">European Stocks<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Stocks in Europe traded higher on Friday, paring their biggest weekly loss since early April as the EU Summit in Brussels remains in the spotlight.<\/p>\n<p>The European Euro Stoxx 50 gained 0.16% to 3,238.45, while the German DAX rose 0.08% higher to 9,812.36. The French CAC 40 added 0.27% to 4,451.73, while UK\u2019s benchmark FTSE 100 edged up 0.15% to 6,745.29.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Economic reports <\/span><\/h2>\n<p>In France, the gross domestic product (GDP) expanded 0.7% in the first quarter on a yearly basis, following the 0.8% rise seen in the previous quarter, a report from France\u2019s National Institute of Statistics (INSEE) confirmed.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, France GDP measured on a quarterly and a seasonally adjusted basis showed a flat reading in the first quarter.<\/p>\n<p>Germany\u2019s preliminary inflation reading for June is expected to be released later in the day. Germany\u2019s consumer price index (CPI) is expected to show a rise of 1.0% in June from the previous figure of 0.9% seen in May.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">EU Summit<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>European Union leaders will continue its two-day summit in Brussels on Thursday and will decide on the appointment of the next European Commission (EEC) president, as well as EC jobs, EU\u2019s budget, the situation in Ukraine will be amongst the topics which will be discussed.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong><em><span style=\"color: #292f33\">Deposit $100 get $100 absolutely FREE!
