During yesterday’s trading, the US dollar weakened against currency majors. The dollar index (#DX) moved away from local highs and closed the trading session in the red zone (-0.25%). The greenback was under pressure after weak economic releases. In September, manufacturing PMI in the US fell at the fastest pace in 10 years. Most financial market participants believe that the Fed will continue the cycle of lowering interest rates.<\/p>\n

The Aussie reached multi-year lows after the Reserve Bank of Australia cut its key interest rate by 25 basis points to 0.75%. The British pound is still under pressure due to the uncertainty concerning Brexit. Boris Johnson plans to submit to the EU his proposals before the end of the week.
