This was a weekly change of 1,061 net contracts from the previous week which had a total of 23,551 net contracts.<\/p>\n<p>The week&#8217;s net position was the result of the gross bullish position (longs) growing by 2,366 contracts (to a weekly total of 36,064 contracts) while the gross bearish position (shorts) rose by a lesser amount of 1,305 contracts for the week (to a total of 11,452 contracts).<\/p>\n<p>Russian ruble speculators raised their bullish positions following a down week the week prior.
