The single currency dropped to 1.0938 against the greenback. The US dollar index climbed on the back of a rise in US10Y bond yields. All eyes are on the dollar given uncertainty in the UK over Brexit and Prime Minister Johnson, as well as the ECB easing their monetary policy. Trump has announced that a deal with China could be reached sooner than expected.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Day\u2019s news (GMT+3):<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>09:00 Germany: Gfk consumer confidence survey (Oct).<\/li>\n<li>11:00 Eurozone: M3 money supply (Aug), private loans (Aug).<\/li>\n<li>15:30 US: GDP (Q2), GDP price index (Q2).<\/li>\n<li>17:00 US: pending home sales (Aug).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/alpari.com\/storage\/inline-images\/eur_260919_0.png\" alt=\"EURUSD H1\" data-entity-type=\"file\" data-entity-uuid=\"73fd75d1-c7ab-4828-95da-ddb7fed68360\" \/><strong><em>Current situation:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Yesterday panned out as expected, with the euro sliding to the 45<sup>th<\/sup> degree. In the hours following yesterday\u2019s drop, expect to see some consolidation followed by a further drop to the 90<sup>th<\/sup> degree. Keep the 112<sup>th<\/sup> degree (1.0893) in your sights.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s not much news coming out today. The US GDP report can be ignored. This will be the third reading, which doesn\u2019t have much of an impact on markets given that we\u2019re now coming to the end of the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> quarter.
