This was a weekly change of 4,655 net contracts from the previous week which had a total of -53,600 net contracts.<\/p>\n<p>The week&#8217;s net position was the result of the gross bullish position (longs) falling by -718 contracts (to a weekly total of 75,489 contracts) while the gross bearish position (shorts) fell further by a total of -5,373 contracts for the week (to a total of 124,434 contracts).<\/p>\n<p>Copper bets have now improved for a second straight week after having fallen in thirteen of the previous sixteen weeks.
