This was a weekly lowering of -7,915 net contracts from the previous week which had a total of 35,528 net contracts.<\/p>\n<p>This week&#8217;s net position was the result of the gross bullish position sliding by -21,932 contracts to a weekly total of 131,357 contracts compared to the gross bearish position which saw a fall by -14,017 contracts for the week to a total of 103,744 contracts.<\/p>\n<p>The net speculative position had seen increasing bullish positions for seven straight weeks before this week&#8217;s turnaround.
