Net bets in favor of\u00a0US dollar\u00a0<\/em>declined slightly last week to $23.34 billion from $23.65 billion against the\u00a0major currencies<\/a>during the previous week, according to the report of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) covering data up to August 28 released on Friday August 31. The ICE dollar index weakened, as\u00a0live dollar index<\/a>\u00a0data show, with the decline in the demand for haven assets as US and Mexico reached a preliminary trade deal.<\/p>\n
