SP 500, Nasdaq composite log fresh records<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

US stocks<\/b>\u00a0ended at all time highs on Friday despite purchasing managers indexes\u2019 preliminary estimates showed businesses grew in November at the slowest pace in four months. The dollar weakened as euro rallied: the\u00a0live dollar index<\/a>\u00a0data show the ICE US Dollar index, a measure of the dollar\u2019s strength against a basket of six rival currencies, fell 0.4% to 92.754.\u00a0S&P 500<\/a>\u00a0rose 0.2% to record 2602.42 led by technology and materials shares. The US broad market index gained 0.9% for the week.\u00a0Dow Jones\u00a0<\/em>industrial average added 0.1% to 23557.99. The\u00a0Nasdaq\u00a0<\/em>composite gained 0.3% to new high 6889.16.<\/p>\n

European stocks end week higher<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

European stocks\u00a0<\/b>pulled back on Friday. Both the\u00a0euro\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0British Pound\u00a0<\/em>advanced against the dollar. The Stoxx Europe 600 index ended the session down 0.1% but posted 0.7% gain for the week. The\u00a0DAX 30\u00a0<\/em>meanwhile rose 0.4% to 13059.84 as Ifo business climate index surged to another record high in November. France\u2019s\u00a0CAC 40\u00a0<\/em>gained 0.2% while UK\u2019s\u00a0FTSE 100\u00a0<\/a>slipped 0.1% to 7409.64. Indices opened higher today.<\/p>\n

Chinese stocks lead Asian markets down<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Asian stock indices<\/b>\u00a0are mostly lower today led by Chinese stocks.\u00a0Nikkei\u00a0<\/em>ended 0.3% lower at 22488.50 as yen extended advanced against the dollar. Chinese stocks are lower after closing higher Friday: the\u00a0Shanghai Composite Index\u00a0<\/em>is down 0.9% and Hong Kong\u2019s\u00a0Hang Seng\u00a0<\/em>Index is 0.5% lower. Australia\u2019s All Ordinaries Index is up 0.1% despite continued decline in Australian dollar against the greenback.<\/p>\n

Oil lower<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Oil futures prices\u00a0<\/b>are lower today on increasing US output prospects. Prices rose Friday on news Russia would discuss the details of crude output cuts deal extension at OPEC meeting on November 30. January Brent rose 0.8% to $63.85 a barrel on Friday.<\/p>\n
