Dollar sentiment improved ahead of Fed decision

US dollar net long bets increased to $29.73 billion from $28.48 billion against the major currencies in one week ending December 18, according to the report of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) released on Friday December 21. The dollar sentiment improved on strong US data as retail sales and industrial production rose more than expected in November.
